No preheat is required and keep the interpass temperature below 300 deg F. The filler metal should be 316. Note that CF8M is NOT low carbon- CF3M is the low carbon equivalent. Your weld HAZ could be sensitized to aqueous corrosion due to precipitation of chrome carbide. But from a mechanical/strength perspective, the weld itself is no problem.
